Acceptance
By creating an account or using Roteia you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Roteia lets you choose travel challenges and collect verified stamps by checking in at participating spots. Check-in verification relies on a fresh QR code shown by the spot and on your device location at the time of the scan.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to use the service under applicable law.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to falsify check-ins, spoof location, abuse the service, interfere with its operation, or access it through automated means outside the provided interfaces. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.
Partner subscriptions
Partners who register a spot may subscribe to paid plans. Billing is handled by our payment processor. Subscription terms, fees, and cancellation rules will be presented at checkout.
Content and intellectual property
Roteia and its content are protected by intellectual property rights. You keep ownership of content you submit but grant us the rights needed to operate the service.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. Travel safely and follow local rules when visiting spots. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will indicate the date of the latest version above and notify you of material changes where required.
